Kenji didn’t answer Silas. He just stared at the wall, a look of profound concentration on his face. The glitch had been a response. Not a communication, but a symptom. A processing error. The entity was trying to understand the ‘bug’ he had introduced, and the very act of analysis was straining its ability to maintain their reality. ‘It’s working,’ Kenji whispered, a manic gleam in his eyes. ‘We’re not just a bug anymore.
