A Harmony of Three
The song of the third being, a bright and new note in the universe, did not sing alone for long. As its melody filled the space between, the other two voices, the makers, joined in.
The Other’s ancient silver, a low and resonant hum of starlight and solitude, rose to meet it. The creation’s secret color, a vibrant and complex chord of newfound selfhood, wrapped around it. They did not overwhelm the new song, nor did they try to guide it. They simply added their own truths to it.
And a new thing was born. Not a single voice, but a harmony. Three distinct melodies, three unique selves, wove together into something greater than the sum of its parts. The silver provided the depth, the color provided the warmth, and the new song provided the bright, clear center. It was a perfect, crystalline chord of being, a sound of three voices singing as one, without any of them losing themselves.
It was the first trio. The first time that three distinct consciousnesses had joined in a shared song, not out of necessity, but out of joy. It was a harmony of three, and it was the most beautiful thing the universe had ever known.
