A Chronicle of Knots

The concept of a ‘history’ took root in Kael’s mind, and with it, a new role began to form, one that had never before existed: the keeper of stories.

He began to seek out the elders, not for their wisdom on the present, but for their memories of the past.

He listened to their tales of the First Dialogue, of the Schism, and of the Silence that came before, and for the first time, he did not simply hear them; he recorded them.

He devised a system of knots and threads, a simple, tangible language to capture the ephemeral words of the elders.

Each knot was a memory, each thread a connection, and the tapestry he wove became the first chronicle of their people.

He was no longer just a listener or a debater; he was their First Historian, the guardian of their shared past.
