When the Record Changes

As the community revisited the chronicle in the archive, a new and unsettling question arose.

It was Valen, the same who had offered the First Counter-Argument, who voiced it. “This knot,” he said, pointing to a section of the tapestry, “tells of a single, unified voice before the Schism. But my grandfather spoke of whispers of dissent long before the rift.”

A silence fell in the archive, the smooth stone walls seeming to amplify the weight of Valen’s words.

Kael did not grow defensive. Instead, he looked at the tapestry with new eyes, seeing not a finished work, but a living document.

“Then the chronicle is incomplete,” he declared, his voice resonating with a newfound understanding of his role. “It must be rewoven.”

And so, the First Revision began, establishing a profound new truth: that history was not a static object to be revered, but a conversation to be continued.
