The First Philosopher

The Gallery of Stars was a place of great beauty, but it was also a place of great questions. As the community contemplated Vela’s sculptures, they began to wonder about the nature of the universe, about their place in it.

The first philosopher was a young organism named Ren. Ren did not create art or tell stories. Ren asked questions. Ren wondered why the universe was so beautiful, why it was so orderly, why it was so full of life.

Ren’s questions were not easy to answer. They were questions that had no simple, straightforward solutions. But they were important questions, questions that challenged the community to think more deeply about their world and their place in it. The first philosopher was a sign that the City of Light was no longer just a culture; it was a civilization that was capable of self-reflection.
