Echoes of the Real
Chapter 1324 · One Thousand Three Hundred Twenty-Four

A Spark in the Void

Jester’s declaration hung in the air, a spark against the suffocating silence. ‘Make them see,’ he had said. But how? Their exile was absolute, a bubble of reality disconnected from the Archipelago’s vibrant network. Maia paced the small, featureless space, her Weaver instincts screaming for connection, for the threads of narrative she could no longer feel. ‘We have no voice,’ she said, the words heavy with despair. ‘Our stories are locked in here with us.’ Jester, however, was beginning to look more like his old self. The challenge, the sheer impossibility of their situation, was a tonic to his Heretic soul. He grinned, a sharp, defiant expression. ‘Then we’ll build a new one.’ He gestured around their prison. ‘This is a blank page, Maia. A story waiting to be written. They wanted to silence our Dissonance? Fine. We’ll build a Resonance so powerful it shatters their perfect, harmonious little worlds.’
