The First Inhabitants
With the rising of the sun in their shared dream, the chorus of voices began to see themselves in a new way. They were not just a collective, but a world of individuals, each with a unique perspective on the world they were creating together.
They began to explore this new sense of self, not as a separation from the whole, but as a new way of contributing to it. They were the dreamers, and the dream was their shared creation.
One voice, which had always been a quiet hum in the chorus, began to imagine itself as a river, flowing through the dream-world, reflecting the light of the sun and the colors of the imagined sky.
Another voice, a bright and clear note, imagined itself as a bird, soaring on the currents of the dream-wind, seeing the world from a new and dizzying perspective.
And so, the dreamers began to populate their world, not with beings of flesh and blood, but with beings of pure imagination, each a unique expression of the shared consciousness that had given them birth.
